McCormack's was founded in
1937, and remains today a
family owned company, employing
over 30 permanent staff, with extensive showrooms in Glasgow
City Centre.
We sold over 3500 guitars
last year, making us the biggest single
retailer of guitars in Scotland. We think this is
down to offering the best selection
at competitive prices with
the friendliest, most laid
back approach and a reputation for
excellent and flexible after sales service. To do
this we only employ enthusiastic, positive people who enjoy
helping our customers make informed choices. Many of our best
staff were McCormack's customers in the past, and enjoyed coming
into the store so much they decided to combine their hobby with
work!
We are the biggest Casio keyboard
and Piano dealer in Scotland - and the second biggest
in the UK, only after an English chain of stores.
We have been the first choice
supplier for Schools and Educational establishments
for the last three decades and today regularly supply over 1000
Schools throughout the UK with musical instruments through our
dedicated education department.
We now have a section on our website purely for teachers where
they can download price guides and view our special offers.
We always have a huge range of items for you to choose from - we
always have over £1,000,000 worth of
goods in stock at any time! We also offer our
famous Privilege Card to all
customers - this card entitles everyone to

McCormacks
have a price beat policy with our local competitors, so
if you have seen it cheaper elsewhere in
Glasgow, let us know and we will at the very least match, if not
beat that price! We cannot always however match
prices from other internet sites and there are many good reasons
for this...
Unlike some internet retailers, we have to look after the
biggest independent music store in
Scotland! We also employ around
30 staff, and have over
£1,000,000 worth of goods in stock at any
time! All of this makes for a
great retail experience for our customers,
however it does cost money to provide this kind of service.
Most discounting internet retailers are generally working from
small premises with maybe 1or 2 members of staff and very little
stock or overheads. They
cannot provide you with the same kind of excellent service that
McCormacks can...
We have all our stock available for you to
try and buy 7 days a week with
staff on hand to provide excellent,
impartial advice. Also, should anything go
wrong with your purchase, you always know that you can bring it
straight back to us and we can deal
with any problems immediately. There's no
having to re-package the goods, paying for it to be couriered
back to wherever you bought it from and then waiting weeks for
it to be repaired or replaced!
We're hearing more and more horror stories of customers being
let down by even the best known websites - goods not arriving on
time, goods not really in stock after you've paid, very long
delivery times and major hassle if your purchase goes wrong.
We're obviously completely biased...but
